Fresh Salads

With the support of the Dutch government and European Programmes Olvita has built an utmost modern production platform for fresh salads near Kiev . The agricultural area comprises over 3.000 ha and the production site comprises a total area of 6 ha . The production capacity is approximately 1 mt per hour and can be expanded up to 3mt per hour.

In the warm period of the year Olvita grows its vegetables themselves. This under the supervision of a selected group Dutch farmers, who cooperate with Olvita in the Ukraine , and Rijk Zwaan, a respected Dutch supplier of vegetable seeds. In order to satisfy Olvita’s customer demands regarding continued supply of fresh cut salads, Olvita cooperates with several Dutch suppliers of vegetables and fruit.
