Olvita People helping People

On 1st of December 2007, Olvita participated at the15th Annual Christmas Charity Bazaar, held by The International Women’s Club of Kyiv* (IWCK). This is a major fundraising event of the yea, with proceeds used to support various charity initiatives in Kyiv and Kyiv region.

Over 30 embassies set up stalls, bringing national delicious food and drinks and exclusive handicrafts and traditional souvenirs, as well as products from companies based in the Embassy’s country of origin. Olvita, representing The Netherlands, was present at the stand of the Royal Netherlands Embassy and impressed the public with it’s wide range of fresh vegetables and exotic fruits during the day.

This years’ charity bazaar focussed on support of children with a psychological disorder.

With the goal to raise funds for this charity initiative, Olvita was selling several products, as for example marinated vegetables, different types of salads, exotic fruits and a variety of fresh vegetables. Olvita’s success of this event were the exotic fruits, of which over 100 kg was sold. Other popular products were the “Salad Korean Style”, fresh mushrooms and fresh vegetables in vacuum packaging.

At this fundraising event of the year, Olvita sold over 300kg of products and we are proud to announce that together with all participatns this day resulted in an amount of $ 192.000 for charity.

We thank all visitors for taking part in this day and providing us with the opportunity to do something good and out of the ordinary.
