Between 10th and 14th March, 2008, the food and beverage industry will gather at Alimentaria. Meat products and the HORECA channel will be the stars of the 17th edition of this trade show. Placing Intercarn and Restaurama in Fira Barcelona’s Montjuic venue will reinforce the organic expansion of these two sectors and enable them to be as specialized as possible.

For the 2008 edition, internationalization will once again be one Alimentaria’s key elements. Cooperation, distribution and innovation projects involving Latin American countries, Eastern Europe, Asia and the United States will return to bring about over 7,200 business meetings.

From the very outset, Alimentaria has combined its status as a macro-fair with a highly specialised range of products and services on display in dedicated, single-theme shows to make it easier for professionals to plan their visits and do business. The whole of the food industry was represented in the thirteen product areas and two pavilions comprising Alimentaria Barcelona 2006.
